Archer excluded from today's test squad for "breach of bio-security".
Just what we need! :(

Stokes has almost caught Tava.., I mean Sibley 😉. Old fashioned batting Ali, you must be pleased. Boycott will be, for a bit anyway.

Interesting stat they just brought up on Sky of England's slowest test centuries since 1990. Sibley is surrounded by Mike Atherton knocks. No bad thing that, if he emulate Athers.

Pitch certainly still has nibble and bounce. Windies just haven't hit the right areas as consistently as they did at Southampton. Hopefully the heavy roller won't deaden the surface and England can hit the right lengths. Bess could be in the game as well.

Now safely converted to HF68
Just what England need not since Cook have we had someone who occupies the crease as long as runs are coming at the other end stay there all day.
As I was once told as a young cricketer 'You can't score runs in the pavilion'

I have not been able to watch as working. Definitely approve of old style test batting. (y)

I once opened for the school in a ten over game and was 8 not out as we posted 18-2 so this is very much my idea of red ball cricket. :)
