This has at least taken the limelight off England's embarrassment......

David Warner isn't a proper chap

The lovely David Warner has been identified as "the issue". He's likely to be banished from the Australia side for good.

My heart bleeds for the chap. Really it does. I'm only giggling about something else I saw that was really funny.
Was Warner popular at Middlesex when he did a 20-20 stint a few years back Jason? Or was that before the space needed for his ego meant there was none left for any decency?

Shame we're not playing them! They're notionally back for the World Cup and the Ashes.

Paul - to be honest I remember very little about his stint with us.

It appears that the Torygraph's "exclusive" was fake news. Darren Lehmann soldiers on having apparently been oblivious of tampergate.

Not sure I am buying into that one. Something a bit rum about it; definitely not right. :S

How he managed that, given he was complicit in the decision to try to hide the evidence, I'll never know.

Yes indeed.

Isn't conspiracy worse than the original offence ?

Hoping Malcolm Turnball will be exerting some pressure on the weak asses at Cricket Australia to get this loathsome man removed.

As a side-issue, Bancroft has a contract for 2018 with Somerset, who are keeping tabs on the situation.

I also recall, not long ago, Bancroft and Smith enjoying a press conference after the Jonny Bairstow "headbutt" incident.

I feel really sorry for the Australians. The first time they ever cheat in a cricket match and they go and get caught.

I do not want to see Bancroft at the County Ground this season. Simples.
