So is it just a question of reading on your phone rather paper copy?

Is this further proof that after the EFL Trophy debacle our next crop of nippers aren't looking like cutting the mustard as well as previous generations have?
When the 2 goal lead was surrendered last night I was waiting for someone to say something along these lines, I bottled doing so as I thought I’d get shot for it, I do wholeheartedly agree with you and this is further proof that this crop aren’t up to it and maybe some of the others, Beardmore etc. schooled by Reading in the EFL trophy and lost a 2 goal lead to Crediton of the SW Peninsula league (ok they are going well in that league but it’s the lowest ranked league in the comp) in the Devon bowl isn’t great reading at all, I know they are kids learning and playing vs men but this lot should be brushed aside 4/5-0 by our lads even more so with some pros in the 11 too.

It’s the Devon bowl after all I’m not going to lose any sleep over it, but we need that level of talent coming through and sadly this crop seem a long way off it at this stage.

Comedy highlight of the game for me was City's left back approaching the bench holding the back of the top of his thigh. An enquiry from the physio that I didn't hear was presumably whether he was suffering muscle tightness. The reply was "No, I fell on my bum and it fooking hurts"

I’m going to challenge you on this post.

There appears to me to be a change afoot, we’re putting full teams of younger players out against men. I think the naivety is therefore exposed. I can only assume there is a scientific plan behind this i.e. sort the wheat from the chaff as soon as you can.

This could be a change brought about by GC and his team. He appears to be a very clever but also quietly ruthless boss. Ideal.

Good post, I like the way you’ve viewed the way things could be, or are being done here with the side this season and that changes could have been implemented by the change in coaches at the club, fair point. Results in the Youth Alliance league vs other u18 sides have also been somewhat concerning, just 1 win to date on the opening day vs Swindon.

Admittedly they are here to learn and develop as players I fully get that, maybe we are going through a change period and that new ways methods etc are just taking longer to come to fruit.
