China still clinging to the fallacy that is zero covid I see. Which will be to the detriment of us all, sadly. Supply chains will be affected further, prices going up even more.

They are doing damage anyway with their Covid policies.

I'm not there greatest fan either but the Chinese as a population have really done well in China's growth and to me that has kept any dissent in check, Give the people a bit of wealth, freedom to travel but keep them in check politically is how they do things, Take away their wealth or ability to earn then rumblings would start, Its not like the China of old when they were really "Backwards" in economical terms.

Can’t help but think if a new devastating variant were to come to fore again it’ll come from a China struggling to keep COVID in check.
