Jason's match preview http://www.exeweb.com/2017/08/31/next-up-exeter-city-vs-newport-county-2/
Will guessGoodness only knows what line-up Tis is likely to start with on Saturday.I suspect it will be similar to the previous home games with some of the newbies on the bench given the late signings.Anyway we now have a situation where players have to fight for a starting place. Will be disappointed if we don't get 3 points on Saturday.
Revising this to 6,000 after recent events2-1 win McAllinden and Reid, 5000 in attendance
Interesting bearing in mind our reduced capacity of 6087 and only 350 allocated to the exies. Be nice if you are right but......Revising this to 6,000 after recent events
Hopefully we will be positive. Newport maybe more adventurous this time but back in April they were scrapping for every point and Tisdale went for the old keep it tight for an hour and then try to win it. Unfortunately as a result it was a very poor game, and we went behind just as he was about to start making substitutions and we didn't really look much like coming back into it.I think he has to start with Reid. I know he's somewhat of a super sub, but we need to go at em' at full strength from the start in this match.
We only had 350 tickets though. Given our start, if your ground wasn't restricted in terms of attendances this season you'd probably have double that at least. I live in Plymouth and unfortunately can't make tomorrow's game. I hope it's a good one with us swapping places in the tables come 5pm!!Newport have only 50 tickets left and expect to sell them tomorrow. Our stand sold out. Cracking atmosphere expected!
