Will it be on for starters ? Could succumb to covid or the Polar Bomb Beast from the East they keep on about but either way it would have been a juicy tie if the doors had been open to the public. It would be sods law if we had the best cup run for years and couldn't go.

3-2 City win. Bowman hat trick.

Not gonna fall to the weather, but may well fall to covid - Weds squad are riddled. It’s already been taken off Bet365 site and bookies always know first.

According to IBA's thread if they have 14 players available then they have to play or forfeit.

Weather here should be okay but wouldn't be surprised if Wednesday struggle to get out from the North. Might just be a nice excuse for them to postpone if their squad is riddled with Covid

Not sure they are allowed to use the weather at their end as an excuse for not travelling, are they?

It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to dodge the fixture if they could.

Clubs received an email from the FA last week warning that matches must go ahead in the competition if both teams have 14 fit registered players available and they would not necessarily have to be from the first-team squad.

If a club says they are unable to fulfil a fixture this weekend due to positive Covid-19 tests, the Professional Game Board will decide on the outcome but is likely to award the tie to their opponents.

Derby are looking to fulfill their cup tie against Chorley even though their entire first team squad and staff are isolating by fielding their youth team and any u23 players who were not in their first team bubble.
