It was 'cos the ref gave it.

Just had a review of the match last season forgot it had everything - goal disallowed, straight red sending off, (soft) penalty, goalkeeping display of the decade and even when we did beat the goalkeeper there were defenders to block it. What a match, and it could be said that match cost us the playoffs (along with Macclesfield home and away Foreat Green etc etc )
How we didn't get anything out of that I will never know. Just remember the players getting clapped off.

Parkes versus their new "hard man" centre forward could be interesting duel. Still think that our attacking creativity and solid defence will "get us over the line" though.

I hope so. But can see this being tough, going for a draw.

Possibly go back to 4 at the back (at least for a while) to counter that threat?
Then, when the large old lump has been suitable discouraged, hit hem for the last half hour or so with our fresh, speedy wingers?

Brett Huxtable is the ref for Saturday. Goodbye unbeaten run.

Could be interesting watching the "old tub of lard" trying to keep up with the pace of Sparkes let alone Williams and Richardson ! Lol.

Is Huxtable going to butcher our hopes?

How the hell does this incompetent, overweight berk stay on the EFL refs list? It's not just us who thinks he's useless, Google "Brett Huxtable worst referee" for other clubs' fans views.
