What is also great news is that Cheick is one of the players that KMT has identified as likely to attract interest from other clubs so tying him down for a further year makes so much sense all round, Stevenage's loss is our gain

Cheik has been given two years, just hope that those seasons are played on the right of defence. With Stubbs continuing problems I can see him as an injury replacement for him, building into an eventual replacement for Sweeny.

Not quite. Pondy to replace Cheickh after his move to Southampton for £3M :)
