This coming Sunday on the 11th sees a charity football match taking place between a team of First Great Western Exeter staff and the Exeter City supporters team. The match will take place at Newton St Cyres football club and kicks off at 1pm. Entrance is £1 and the clubhouse will be open too opening at 12:45pm for the duration. All proceeds of the match will go to the Adam Stansfield Foundation with the significance of the match being a day after the 3rd anniversary of his death.

It's sure to be a great occasion and the weather forecast is looking good so if you are at a loose end on Sunday then please come along and support the match.

A great day and occasion as we ran out comfortable 11-0 winners. Early indications show over £700 was raised for AS9 but final total to be confirmed in the next couple of days.

Well a final count has revealed that £800 was raised from Sunday's event and RGB are chucking in an extra £100 so a total of £900 raised for AS9.

Well done to all involved in the day

At least with it being home it means group save won't be barred!
