Nothing dodgy in this take over is there? Deal agreed four months ago and still not completed.

Rewarded for sticking with Daniel Farke and the bulk of their players and not going overboard in the Premiership last season. It still might be tough next season but they will have more knowledge and experience this time.

Wycombe as good as relegated now...I got to say although they’ve been at the bottom of the table all season they haven’t disgraced themselves and have put up quite a good fight really.

Derby seem to be in a bit of a pickle, Not one but two takeovers now fallen through and with the EFL looking at giving them a possible fine or points deduction (Whether that will be for this season or rolled over to next season) not a happy ship at the moment.

Around £200 million put in by Mel Morris and they are where they are. Something has to change in football. Chasing the golden PL pot is having far too many flooding down problems that outweigh the trickle down offerings. Parachute payments need to go for a start and be distributed more equally throughout the EFL.

With that sort of money he's put in you certainly can't say he was using Deby as a "Plaything", Which gets bandied around on here when talking about private owners.

No, more a case of a fool and his money...

Money only helps when it is spent wisely, but he money pit that the PL has is skewing things all the way down. Championship clubs spending a kings ransom in pursuit of the PL riches, L1 clubs chasing the Championship with the sizable step up in funding (but also of course spending) and us in L2 striving for a shot at the Championship (via L1). That's before you get to the NL who want the riches (?!) of the EFL.

Strive to increase income, spend sensibly and sustainably, see where we can get to.

I don't think its a case of the PL being a moneypit, They have the TV riches, The Championship is the moneypit, Owners of clubs that have been in the PL and want to get back there pour money into them with very little money from TV compared to the PL, For a neutral The Championship is a far better product than the PL, With almost half if not more having a chance to go up come Xmas, Its great to watch but spending say 110% of your income is not good business and every season you try to go up and fail, It costs more and more.

"Strive to increase income, spend sensibly and sustainably, see where we can get to."

I think we have (Since the Trust has been in charge) done this but it does give us a disadvantage when 96% of other teams don't hold to this, Even after the debacle of the ESL and this trying to get fans more say within PL clubs is great in Theory but when these great players, Flash new stadiums and facilities etc don't turn up and the owners say "We don't have the money etc" I'll bet anything those PL fans won't like it, While the FA/PL have the stranglehold on the money it will always be as this.
