You would think there would have to be a major enquiry into what happened and how it was handled...Can anyone remember when a city centre fire went on so long and caused so much damage to an iconic building?
Possibly from the gas main rupturing?A really terrible and sad day for the City.
Saw the flames re-alighting into the sky last night at around 22.00 from here on the edge of Tedburn after the fire had appeared to be under control earlier.
That can't be true, surely they must have closed off the gas supply to that part of the city..Possibly from the gas main rupturing?
Don't know. Add it to the list of questions that need to be asked when this is finished. That can't be true surely. They must have closed off the gas supply to that part of the city..
Well quite Hants. I'm not sure we'll solve anything idly speculating about something we know absolutely nothing about on here.Don't know. Add it to the list of questions that need to be asked when this is finished.
Arguably? How on earth can you make any sort of judgment on that? The media jumping on the thank the fire brigade band wagon what for doing there jobs arguably not very well.
