Not gloom and doom a number of other teams (at least 10) have also lost at least one game already this season.

We definitely seemed to struggle more in the heat than they did and whether heat affected or not the RD boys were saying some of our defending was a bit sloppy.

On to Tuesday and Wycombe who have played three and lost two.
You have to wonder how much the long journey in this heat had an effect in the end. How far is the journey 4 hours plus traffic jams?.

I'm not too disheartened by this We weren't playing against traffic cones : they fought hard and won. No shame in losing this
Hope Matt gives the boys a rest now : think they deserve it. And a reality check for us :
Never mind : onwards and upwards
.

Horrible feeling losing football matches .…but at least an honest assessment from Matt Taylor on Radio Devon tonight.

Doesn't make sense to me, Sparkes running up and down that line for 90 mins and Caprice on the bench. We had quality players to replace half the outfield players at half time and yet we let Cambridge take the game to us and only made changes when we were falling apart or desperate. We should have brought on fresh legs and ideas and been active rather than reactive. We'll be lucky if some of those overworked players are fit to play on Tuesday now.

Matt Taylor has already said there’ll be changes for Wycombe.
