Possibly just 1 win from a first County Championship title. Good luck to the bauys from Zider country (that includes various Australians, South Africans, West Indians, New Zealand, Malaysia and any other places i may have overlooked)

Looking at the remaining fixtures it might well be that Zummerzet could *finally* get their hands on the silverware. I still fancy Notts to do it, mind. Especially as this week they take on those jokers from Sarf Lahndon.

What is it about ex-Middlesex players who previously couldn't hold the bat properly suddenly scoring loads of runs against their former employers?

Earlier in the season it was Chris Wright of Essex, now Chris Whelan of Worcs. Before today, 34 runs in 8 FC matches. Today? 45 not out (so far).

You can shove your stone island up your arse, this
somerset 160-3 when bad light stopped play. durham's first day was washed out and surrey are 242-7 against notts so looks like durham could be out of the reckoning if another day is washed out.

Still Kent to keep an eye out for. Bowled Lancs out for just over 100.

Never been to watch them, but always interested in their results. Didn't they win Div 2 last year or the year before?

Not looking too good so far today. Notts have picked up max bowling points whilst Zummerzet have lost 3 more wickts and have only 1 bp at the mo. - Long way to go yet.
