Steve Dale has turned down an offer from a previous owner. He's running out of time.

Bury had a debt of £7million. This debt was 'bought' by a new company for £70,000. Under the CVA the new company is entitled to re-payment of £1.75million (25% of £7million). The new company has one director. He is the boyfriend of Steve Dale's daughter.

You can smell the corruption wafting up already. There is certainly something sick in English football.

Indeed..Whilst the taxpayers(via HMRC) small businesses & individuals get screwed over.

The canny part of the equation is the ‘new’ company has a disproportionate vote on the CVA & will always get it passed.
A few of the smaller companies voted against it even though they would get nothing if Bury were liquidated, such was their anger at getting ripped off.
Something is seriously wrong with the process.
One day someone at the EFL will wake up & smell the coffee with these charlatans involved with clubs..
