Far too many to list.....individual mistakes that cost goals and missed chances which any striker worth his salt should have taken.

Letting Law go without having a replacement, even if not Law’s quality, to fill the gap and Joel’s second injury.

That and the obvious one of not getting a decent striker in in January. Whether or not there was anyone suitable available then is another thing. But I think Taylor was in denial over strikers at that point after the Ajose cockup and the strain that would have put on his budget.Like it or not anyway , other teams took a punt , we didn’t.

Agree with everything that has been said, I feel another big moment in our season was the home defeat against Cheltenham, we had kept pace with them throughout the match and then conceded. Felt it was a big kick in our teeth and led to us having to find our rhythm again, lost the following two games.
Agreed but honestly the final analysis would show that nothing that happened or did not happen during the season really had a shattering effect and nothing can mask the truth that we just are not good enough.

Allowing Ajose to stay at the club collecting wages when clearly unfit to play is the biggest mistake of the year. Contract should have been terminated.

The Bridge Inn….on a good day.
Matt’s poor recruitment. Ajose. Fisher. Caprice. Parkes. Atangana.
And nonsensical signings like Jimmy Oates.
Plus always playing Seymour.
I have little confidence for this summer.

We would still have had to pay the balance of his wages, to terminate it !

The biggest moment of the season was probably when the (rightly at that time) cautious budget was set and the decision taken to go with our younger players. On the one hand, we have seen some of the youngsters potential and they have gained good experience. On the other we have not quite been experienced or good enough in certain types of games and lacked depth when injuries and loss of form hit.

People can point to those players who didn't play for whatever reason, but without the budget cut, we would probably have had a few more experienced players in the squad.

Would have sent the message that we don't tolerate shirkers. He didn't play any part in the season either way so may as well have at least used it to motivate some of the other dossers.

Not quite so; he played some part in 9 games, mostly as a late sub, and was on the bench for others, but agreed his contribution was minimal.

Spending £100,000+ on a screen when we could have spent the money on wages for Jayden Stockley for half a season. Taylor enquired so must have known about the wages etc. Obviously the safe decision was to sign an injured player on a two and half year contract who may or may not ever make an impact.
