A shame they didn't reschedule for school half-term in February. Little Grecians not being allowed out on school nights often means parent Grecians don't go either.
It's probably a case of getting them done as quick as possible to avoid any fixture pile ups.

Looks like the EFL make you play the game on the earliest free midweek just in case there is a bad winter for postponements

Found this ( so Ipswich playing same date as well )

Town were due to host the Shrimps on Saturday, January 7 but Kieran McKenna’s men will now be in cup action that weekend, with a date and time for their clash with Rotherham yet to be formally set.
As a result, Morecambe will now visit on Tuesday, January 24, with the game kicking off at 7.45pm.

Yes, I had understood this to be the case. I also had in mind a guideline/rule about playing on the first available date after 3 weeks. But that may be for games postponed on the day, rather than in advance.

A midweek game sandwiched between 2 away trips, but fortunately neither of them are monster journeys.

Let's see how early the matches which are (or will) be postponed on Saturday get placed

anybody due to play us should have their game rearranged for 24 hours before they play us!

PS just seen that 3 out of 4 teams with games postponed can't have rearranged fixtures that would give us an advantage. Two are playing us in a week where we already have 3 fixtures and another is playing us on Easter Monday. Got to hope that Accrigton get rearranged for 21 March, just before their long trip to SJP!
