People saying he was off to Rotherham got that very wrong :)
Looks like Taylor really wanted him in the Championship but couldn't match Peterborough's financial offer.

Just shows that personal success isn't all about money.Taylor would have given him more patience to cement a place in their first team than Ferguson. He plays more minuted in a Championship sidearm it puts in the shop window for the next move.

This may be down to the Rotherham Chairman not being prepared to stomp up the requisite level of compensation/transfer fee rather than just Archie's personal demands.

exeips: Thanks for the link.

Looks like the potential rumour regarding Nombe to Rotherham hasn't got legs. Hopefully Sam will have a helluva first half to the season and then tfr in the January window for a career enhancing move plus a seven figure fee for the club.Wishful thinking ?
Hope not!

I think we should just accept that Nombe will most likely move on next summer but for now he's ours and hopefully he can have a great season. If this happens we can be very happy with our small investment.
