I was always careful where i parked it.
A Supermarket would have been a definite no,no.

Quite understand mate!!!
Those supermarket filling stations, whilst wonderfully cheap for unleaded always have been a "no no" for genuine octane-rated fuel!

Ordinary unleaded (95 octane) was suitable G2K.
The car had spent most of its life in the states.
The USA had unleaded fuel long before the UK & the car was set up for that variation of gasoline.
US ordinary unleaded has a lower octane rating than in the UK.No worries of ‘pinking’ on that score.

1. First Car - Vauxhall Nova Merit
2. Current Car - Vauxhall Astra (no idea what the model number is but it is a black car)
3. Best Car - Vauxhall Astra (The green one I used to have before I got married).
4. Worst Car - Vauxhall Zafira, a good all round bag of shit that was susceptible to catching fire, although luckily mine never did.
5. Dream Car. - I don’t dream about cars. That’s why I drive Vauxhall cars.

5.Probably something like a sporty Discovery but cars are simple work horses to me.
