That shopping list is increasing all the time, but it's helped Caldwell that some of the players are deciding which way they want to go before the season ends. With the difficulties we sometimes face in bringing new players in,we haven't time to wait weeks into the summer for players to decide on a contract offer.

I wonder if we'll look at Mo Faal on loan from WBA. We've had a few from there over the years and he's done well in L2 with 10 goals across 2 teams. 6'3" presence up top would be nice!

Cameron Dawson's contract is up on 30th June and has only made 18 appearances, spending most of his time on the substitutes bench. Any chance here, or too expensive?

Expect he’ll be in demand. Unlikely we’d be able to compete financially.

Was about to suggest the same. With Vil almost certain to be recalled after the season he's had, I'd have Cam back in a heartbeat.
And, provided any offer was reasonable we might be in with a shout after the fine time he had with us last time.
Trouble is the Gas might try to outbid us....and KMT probably still has his (or his agent's) number still on speed dial.

None of the wide players can cross the ball and neither of the tens are creative or score goals.

I can see why we've struggled for goals

whilst I cannot see Dawson coming back here, I would have him back in a heartbeat. Great keeper for us and a very very good league one keeper

I think Cole as a sole no10 with Cox and Alli as strikers is the way forward. Not sure what role Watts could play but could he and Aitchison be Cole’s back ups?

Aitch and Reece offer us something different and I can't see them competing for one place. The way we want to set up will only become more apparent when we sign a forward or two that can actually score goals. Wonder what our current team would be like with a Dazza or Jamie Cureton up front; probably loads of goals.

I think this is incorrect. The way we've played this season for the majority of games then no striker would have scored loads of goals as we simply haven't created the chances. Prime Dazza or Curo may have scored a couple more but no-one is hitting 20+ goals in this team with the tactics remaining the same.
