Only a few weeks to go now and discarded questions litter the floor of my office and in the boxes marked by the question selection panel:

"Not Fit For Purpose" - Nicky Ajose

"Far Too Easy For Cerebral Exeweb Quizzers" Kents Cavern

"Total Turd" - Joe Auguste

More generally these points need some advance consideration:

1. Will STURTZ put Christmas shopping before trying to win ? More Than Likely

2. Will the Spoonzmeister win again or will he be too busy crafting his Music Quiz thread snorter ? He will probably achieve both

3. Will the consistent Mr Dozen step up on his 3rd place last year ? I am primed like a coiled spring, now retired so I will have more time to work out the answers (providing Mrs Dozens list of duties has been dealt with)

4. Will Lionel strike for a 4th time or even rock up at all ? I predict another absence

5. The Hound is looking fit but can he shake off the advancing years and mount a serious challenge ? I am sure he has not been put out to stud just yet

6. Which Exewebber(s) will take pleasure with the Quizmater's choice of Glamorous Assistant ? Looking forward to the reveal

7. Will old favourites Graeme Power, Scott Golbourne, Kents Cavern and Semper Fidelis pitch up ? The new manager is very keen on Semper Fidelis and Grass of course

8. With Big Brett retired, hopelessly overweight and unfit, to which ref(s) will the Quizmater turn ? I am sure the pieman would come out of retirement for this annual event it would not be the same without him

9. Will Swanny serve up the usual warm up question for Greyhound to slot away ? Inevitable

10. How many Prime Ministers will we have over the period of the Quiz ? At least 3

11. Will FBH rear up at the avalanche of questions on obscure street names in small villages and long closed pubs ? Yes without doubt - ps Dont mention the line up at Liverpool away

12. How many Exewebbers will score with "their" question. Assuming they will appear as a question at all of course. Been there done that dont think I will appear again

The answers to all of these questions and lots more will be known come Christmas.

Trouble is , we’ll only be able to afford to put it on for a couple of hours each evening , hence the reference to running round the block.
A couple of hours....bleddy extravagance

Nominations are available, but disappointingly few enquiries so far.

I am #buzzing for the customary Swanny warm up question. As is Greyhound.

My meagre stock of questions that have passed the scrutiny of 1668962598136.png will make it hard for me to offer anything before the real thing. :(

You won't be able to count on me. I've done my back again.

Will there be yellow and red cards this year? Think I was given a yellow last year but can't remember what for.

Yes I think yellows and reds will come into it.

You got a yellow on 16 December 2020 for dissent having answered a question after it had been withdrawn and after a lecture then gobbing off to the QM.

Here is the action replay. Not that action and Big Brett are natural bedfellows :)
