Starting a thread for data and stats to be posted away from other threads and have a home for the season.

Analysing stats is second to watching matches for me but certainly keeps me busy between games!

To start off...

Last season I compared age to minutes played so thought I would do this again for league 2 minutes so far this season.

Broke into quartiles of minutes played (annotated) and added a very rough line showing when players hit their peak according to a website I saw earlier today.

Nice to see an even spread of ages playing in the 3rd and 4th quartile of minutes played.

Will be interesting to see how this develops over the season.

It's true that you do move more to the right as you get older 😉

(Sorry Ryan for the cheap gag, very interesting and clear, helpful graph 👍).

Damned impressive if you ask me, especially when considering our perceived problem with finding the back of the net !

One of our own...

For those who don’t want to click. It’s Archie for his amount of ball recoveries.
