We could be in League One next season anyway ! If you save £100k, that spread over three years salary, is less than 3k per month which won't get you anywhere near a star striker.
The decision has already been made, the order possibly already been placed and manufacture started, so a bit late to "bin it off" as you so eloquently put it ! 😎

could be yes, the 100k could of gone towards a striker you’d be ever so lucky to pick one up for 100k anyway. However like you say the decision has been made and it’s far too late to bin it off indeed.

Congratulations Indo, you now 30,038 not out posts wise, you must be so proud even though the vast majority are of course pointless. When do you intend to finally retire and publish your memoirs or do summat else ? 😎

Just pulling your plonker, Ballzy.
Well, I will probably retire when I reach 100k posts, so I need to get a move on..

Better fit the money had been spent on moving the camera/gantry across to the other side of the pitch, instead of the viewing public looking at that farcical half a stand we have now! Our ground would look far more attractive with cameras pointing towards our main stand, which would cover both dug-outs and the players entrance to the pitch. Other clubs seem to organise their cameras based on the best backdrop, we have to put up with the bedsits of Victoria Street. It looks awful.

Hope all is well in Arizona.

A sensible point. Essentially the annual income has to cover the depreciation and then we get an improved experience at no long term cost.
Working on the assumption of £10k depreciation, we'd need to generate c£350 additional income per match day to "break-even". That would not include the costs of ad-sales, operation & maintenance and content creation.

Alternatively, if we drew Man Utd at home in the FA Cup and it was picked for TV, we'd probably generate £100k from one match.

I started the thread simply to find out if Taggy is correct and the fans do "want it".
Do you want it, Sir?
Do you?
Suits you, Sir...

Etc.

I think the nayers need to create a few multi accounts to turn this round.
