Exeter Chiefs off to Twickenham next Saturday after demolishing Northampton Saints 42- 12. Finishing top of the league means they will be wearing their black home strip against European champs Saracens.

Tom O'Flaherty's 48 minute try was the icing on the cake when a lightning solo run from his own half took him past 4 Saints players before dotting down near the posts.

Hope the Chiefs can do it next weekend, but they'll be second favourites against Saracens.

They will indeed. Talking to the Chief's coach driver, they always travel to away games the day before the game - even to places as near as Bath or bristol

Chiefs finished top of the table, and scored more try’s than anyone else, yet they still have to play in a play off final to decide who is the champion, doesn’t make sense !

It wasn't to be, then, Stuffers. They'll be gutted, having been well ahead at one stage.

Heart breaking wasn't it. I always worry when the making substitutions when it doesn't look necessary at the time - and so soon after the start of the 2nd half seems odd.

Still, 4 visits to HQ in a row is something to be proud of even if some results went against us.

Saracens now in a spot of bother over the salary cap.

Saracens rugby’s Bury? Well , winning unfairly by exceeding the salary cap anyway. Docked 35 points , that should give Chiefs a head start.
