Will the infamous work parties be back this summer?

It just sprung to mind after watching the best of '360' videos and noticing that due to the seats in the NOG being new, and the bank painted last summer, the seats in the Flybe could really do with a lick of paint!

Sorry to disappoint you but we do NOT paint the plastic seats at SJP, they get pressure washed when that part of the close season maintenance is underway, but painting them would not be practical, apart from running the risk of the paint coming off on people's cloths.

They weren't that infamous! What happens on a work party stays in a work party.

If the Club needs any help then they are welcome to request such help on here.

There are some companies who offer to chemically restore seats and the Club have looked into this in the last few seasons. As with everything it's down to finance and priorities.
Sunderland bought 10,000 new seats last summer and had volunteers installing them.

If we were to do this it could be cost effective in the long run to also obtain some sort of opaque covering to put over the seats on non matchdays to prevent further bleaching.

Red is a pretty daft choice of colour for seats really given the tendency to fade in the UV.

That may well be scientifically true, but it sure doesn't fade away as quickly as GREEN does once the springtime sunshine hits it. :D
