Somebody' s got to do it....Our penultimate home game this season.
Hoping for a bumper holiday crowd played in glorious Devon sunshine.
Confident of victory, which will put pressure on the chasing pack.
3-0 to City with goals from Bowman, Law and Taylor.
Come on City - get those 3 points !

Health warning part of the season. Stress levels high. 3 points today would greatly reduce the prescriptions of Cider in local taverns( for medicinal purposes ).

Pete , Don't forget it's a 1pm KO;)

I'd rather Crawley went out of the league than any of the other relegation candidates. Three points today please and another weekend of results going our way wouldn't hurt either.

A make or break Easter weekend for many clubs. The table could look very different at 5pm on Monday. In the football league we've not yet managed to beat Crawley at home. Time to change that stat!

See you all later!

Oh well due off shortly and hopefully a win today (sitting in the NOG again yet to see a win from there so I'll apologize from the outset if we don't do it). But if we win it will keep the pressure on the chasing pack of 5/6 who are playing later :-

Carlisle home to Lincoln where presumably a large crowd for a big stadium will see Lincoln Crowned champions with a defeat for Carlisle and us to move 7 points clear of them. Their last six at home are W 2 D 2 L2
Colchester are also at home to Grimsby, let's hope the Mariners put on as sterling a display as they did when they visited the Park. Colchesters current home form not great W 2 D 1 L 3 but neither is Grimsby's away W 1 D 2 L 3. Hoping for an away but expecting a home victory Keeping Colchester 5 pooints behind.
Swindon are away to Cambridge and their cureent form is 2's across the board, whilst Cambridge at home is W 1 D 3 L 2, so quite hopeful of a draw here which would put Swindon 7 points behind us
Stevenage (our opponents on Monday) are away to Port Vale, we saw how dire PV were away from home let's hope they are better at home, their current form is W 3 L3 whereas Stevenage away is W 1 D 4 L 1, so again a draw could well be on the cards here fingers crossed.
Newport have the difficult task of playing Auto chasing Bury both sides respective form is W 3 D 2 L 1, so a draw would be okay but an away win for Bury could help cement themselves in the Autos.
Finally our opponents next week at SJP Oldham who are away to Jordan Tillson's Cheltenham. Not an easy match for Oldham with Cheltenham being second in the current form table at home with W 4 and D 2, Oldham on the other hand have a mediocre current away form so hopeful of a home win which should see Oldham's hopes of a playoff spot all but dissappear even with their game in hand at Newport.

But at this time of year we all know that the form tables go out of the window and it is down to whoever can hold their nerve at the end of the day. Here's hoping for a fun filled 3 points with everything crossed at 1.00 p.m

It's 13c under a light grey cloud cover with the sun threatening to break through later in the morning. The wind is barely noticeable at around 1-2, though the direction is NNW. We've had no precipitation in the last 24 hours and the ground is dry - sprinklers on! It'll be warmer by kick off - though not necessarily in bright sunshine, as there would appear to be high cloud lurking. Good day for obtaining three points, so let's hope the team that turns up to represent Exeter have an "on" rather than an "off" day. There will be no further update today due to the early kick off - which still hasn't really been explained to me - but hey ho!

See that playing Boateng further forward is Matt Taylor attempt to get him and Law to play together. He's asked for more goals from Boats, hope he can oblige.
City 4 Crawley 1.

Incidentally, got 150/1 on Boateng getting 2 or more. Worth a punt?
