Newports playoff game at Wembley will be their 62nd of the season in all competitions.
Good for the club coffers at least.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.

Yes..Plus I don’t think they have a large squad. One would usually expect a team to pick up a load of injuries playing on their pitch every fortnight.

Oldham Athletic in the High Court tomorrow to answer a winding-up order. Should all be okay, as the debt has been paid.

Have been looking at going to the play off game on Saturday, but there doesn't appear to be a neutral zone. Pity.

Never mind that. Check out the video of his dog howling :)

In all seriousness. Very interesting. Interesting to see Luton, Lincoln and Cov all spent money on signings and wages and have since gone up. Mind you, so did a few other clubs and look where that got them.

Loads of great stats on his page. Some real basket cases by the looks of things

League Two clubs spent £2.8 million on player signings in 2017/18, two thirds of that spending came from Luton and Lincoln. Ten clubs spent nothing on new signings.

Collectively the 72 @EFL clubs made a loss of £388 million in 2017/18 and that is after parachute payments, solidarity payments, player sales and selling stadia to themselves (other creative accounting schemes are available too). Only 19 clubs in the EFL made a profit.

Somerset are at Lords. Will be much more enjoyable.

League 2 play off final today. Winners get to play Accrington Stanley next season, lose get to play lil ole Exeter. I think I'll be supporting Newport rather than Tranmere.
