What a great ground that is, proper old school feel to it inside and out, represents their area well and not too big for them. I hate the plastic grounds that are in abundance now, so it was nice to visit a rickety place like that and make decent noise (y)

Spot on -- my first visit and straight away it's one of my favourite grounds

Yesterday was my first visit to Fratton Park, I sincerely hope that it will not also be my last. I loved the ground, I loved their fans, where to be in their company was a pleasure. One of my most enjoyable away days. God willing, I will definitely return.

Shame about the Starvation Army running the catering in the away end.

Left yesterday really ****ed off with the result (and malnutrition). Now I'm over the disappointment of that, I have to say it was a cracking away-day and I'll go back there in a flash!

Didn't notice it til this afternoon, but I love it in their programme, on the team list, number 12 is 'Pompey Fans' and where the national flag of the player would be is a Pompey badge. Quality.

Your axe must be really sharp, you've been grinding it pretty hard the last few days....
