Tulls - love him or loathe him?

How could any City fan loathe him?! Even if you don't think he's a great player, he has and always will give his all for the club, on and off the pitch. He wouldn't be in my first XI but I still love the guy.

    Francis Jeffers.

Francis Jeffers and James Beattie...presumably Accy Stanley are the only club in the history of the 4th division with 2 forwards who between them have commanded circa £30m of transfer fees in their careers?! Not that it's really worked for them, mind... ^o)

    The Centre Spot

Anyone know the phone number for it? The only number I can find online, and in the Yellow Pages (old school!) is the main club reception, and that doesn't give you an option to ring through to the bar. Alternatively, does anyone know if it's open tonight and if so, will there be skittles on...

    Loan Rumours: Chris Hackett

He was class today, hardly put a foot wrong. Any chance we could keep him til the end of the season?!

    In fairness to Artur....

I think the backpass was fine, he had plenty of time to put the ball upfield, wouldn't have even needed to put it into touch. It would have been routine for any keeper who was comfortable with his kicking and comfortable with the ball at his feet...which is where Artur fell down tonight.

    In fairness to Artur....

Every keeper makes the odd howler. The difference is that most keepers make them about once every thirty or forty games, Artur makes one every three. Good on him, he tries his best and he always picks himself up and goes again...but he can't kick, he's not particularly commanding on crosses...

    Tisdale out !!

Right, that's sorted then. So who shall we get to replace him to guarantee survival this year? That's always the thing, isn't it? The idiots calling for his head are always keen to vent their anger by wielding the axe left, right and centre, but won't have a decent, viable suggestion as to who...

    We Are Doomed!

Square pegs, round holes. It shouldn't come as a surprise that they ripped us apart on the break 3 or 4 times in the first half, no one seems to know where they should be playing! But even so, NO side playing 5 in midfield and 4 at the back should get hit on the break when it's 0-0 in the first...

    Danny Cadamarteri

15 years as a professional footballer playing as a forward, and he's scored 35 goals? Not overwhelmingly brilliant, is it?

    seabornes off to southampton

I never thought Seaborne would make it above League 1 level because I always thought he had a few weaknesses in his game that would hinder his progress. For starters his distribution was p*ss poor, 9 times of out of 10 he would get the ball and launch it upfield to nobody in particular. I...

Exeter City FC v Brentford FC Matchday Thread

Tom Nicholls has to start on Saturday, surely? He looks much livelier, smarter and sharper than Bignall...different side in the 2nd half and it was much to do with Bauza and Nicholls in place of Logan and Bignall IMO.

"Who's that coming over the hill ..."

This is good, providing our opposition for the game are still in existence at that point, of course.

    Will we spend some money?

We don't need panic buys IMO...if we get a bit of cash from the two cup games we'd be better off investing in another physio or some better equipment to treat injuries, as that's really our problem at the moment. It's not that the players we've got are crap, it's that they're injured!

    Guillem Bauza

That Baggy Trousers one is pure class. I hope one of the good one catches on, although I fully expect 'der der der derrrr...Guillem Bauza' or 'one Guillem Bauza' to be the ones that take off unfortunately. Any chance we could get Baggy Trousers played over the PA close to kick off? Get it in...

    Guillem Bauza

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-kB7Nmt3IE&t=5s The 'Y Viva Espana' could fit quite nicely with 'Guillem Bauza'... "We've got this lad from sunny Spain It's Guiii-iiiiillem Bauza He's tearing you apart again It's Guiii-iiiilllem Bauza"

    Strike partnership for Tuesday night?

O'Flynn will be out for another month or so, Bauza was on the bench yesterday but is just back from injury so didn't start or come on. He might feature on Tuesday though, but you don't want to risk starting him if he's likely to pull up and be out for another few weeks.

Os FC v Exeter City - Match Day Thread

I don't see the sense in Tisdale playing in these games? If he's not going to play when the season gets going, he's surely taking up a space in the team that could be filled by someone who could get 90 minutes under their belt for fitness or sharpness? Is it just a case of not forking out for...

I saw Guillem Bauza walking down Queen Street today so I can confirm he is in the great City of Exeter!

    Spain win yet another tournament

They've added the Euro U21 Championship to the World Cup and senior European Championship. Why is there even a hint of a debate as to the best way to coach kids how to play football?!
