Exeter City vs MK D*ns build up thread

True! Hence me coming on here to clarify! If there is ANY Exeter City supporter offended by that use of phrase, I can only apologise. I am merely referring to those that sung the paedo song, no one else, which I think is abhorrent. And as I say, hopefully the events at Cheltenham with Sol...

Exeter City vs MK D*ns build up thread

Point taken and admittedly a poor choice of words. I will change the copy. But on a day that news breaks Sol Campbell has been subjected to homophobic abuse and welcomed criminal action against the perpetrators, calling A VERY SMALL number of ECFC "fans" dickheads for calling our former...

Eamonn Dolan Memorial Match - Your Stories

Hi All, I have been asked to produce the programme for the forthcoming Eamo Memorial Match... we all have many memories of Eamo and know only too well what he did for the club and I am sure many of you will have your own experiences and encounters with Eamo. What I would like to do is take any...

    Fantasy league

Hi all, the Western Morning News have set up a fun Fantasy Football League through the official Premier League one. It is free to enter and there are prizes on offer for the eventual winner. Plenty of A****e fans have already signed up and a splattering of Torquay fans too, a few Exeter...

    Danny Coles

Credy, I think it is worth pointing out that the only reason Coles is going to Brazil is because his name was already on one of the flight tickets and it is an expense City cannot afford to change the name. Tis would still rather go to Brazil with 18 players than leave Coles behind and go with...

    The Pitchfork Fund.

I agree with you there Rae. I too watched it online and formed the same opinion. The Trust have stood still for ages, the level of investment in the Football Club has remained the same for God knows how long, yet I believe Trust membership has gone up? Other than trying to gather new members and...

    The Pitchfork Fund.

I think anything where supporters are seen to be pro-active and encouraging others to follow suit should be applauded. I doubt the pitchfork will raise lots of money, but it raises awareness to the fact that people ARE disenchanted and questioning the direction of the club under Trust ownership...

    Ed Chorlton Speaks ...

The interview with Edward Chorlton is all done and written up and will be in six parts spanning next week, starting from Monday, finishing Saturday. I wouldn't say it was a Jeremy Paxman-style grilling, but I asked pretty much all the questions I received both on here and through my and the...

    Is it time to worry?

Denzil, I think it should be pointed out that using the loan system does not mean you get a player for X amount of time for free... you still have to find a place for them to live and pay their accomodation/travel and more often than not their wages as well. Exeter os not a cheap place to live...

    Is it time to worry?

There are some really great questions here and I will endeavour to get as many of them answered by the chairman as I can. The one thing that is clear is that the fans want clarification on certain issues, so I hope this proves to be a worthwhile exercise for everyone concerned.

    Is it time to worry?

If supporters are that concerned, then I'd like them to know that I am meeting the chairman on Thursday for a full and frank interview on all things ECFC. If you have any serious questions you want me to ask, I am happy to do so. Either post them on this thread, or PM me. Hoping to get the full...

Kellows, 29th April, Tis talking about the Trust, and Taggy.

And therein is part of the problem... Gone is the transparency of early Trust ownership replaced by a fog created by too many people with their own agenda and reluctant/refusing to accept change/a new direction/investment. It has led to what we are now: a club where there are far more questions...
