Our goal yesterday came from a nice reverse pass from Aitchison to Ilmari to run onto, his cross was almost identical to the move which saw Harris put one over the bar in the first 10 minutes. It has taken him time to settle in since his return from injury and I think we are starting to see him...
Hard fought win today, Cole took his goal well and Harris should have also scored from a similar position earlier in the match. Something happened at the final corner of the first half, Jules was down on the ground and a Burton player said something which must have carried on in the tunnel...
Some scout or coach has seen something in Muskwe somewhere along the line for him to get a contact at Luton, me thinks that individual must have been Stevie Wonder.
Quiet an interesting stat that in the 9 games Ampadu has been captain at Leeds this season they have won 9, scoring 22 goals and conceding 2 in the process.
This is the most frustrating thing for me, concede and lose 1-0. I am not a fan of posession football as it generally means a lot of slow sideways and backwards passing without really causing the opposition many problems. The way we set up is rarely attacking and given the number of goals we...
Hope we bounce back from Tuesday's defeat against Derby and can get some more points on the board by 5pm. I think we have a good enough squad to get 3 points against Lincoln today and cement our place in mid table.
Tonight has most certainly shown the gulf between the top end of league one and where we currently are, can't fault the effort but if we are to get anything from the likes of Derby or Portsmouth we need to take our chances and not gift the opposition posession in our own half. The top sides will...
Correct that Cheltenham have won a couple but they are 5 points behind Port Vale and have played the same number of games. Port Vale are on the same points as Charlton and have 2 games in hand.
I've been won over, Gary in! Recent results have changed my mind, I also believe we are over performing given what the league prediction showed on another thread. Yes we had a bad run and at any other club GC would have been given his marching orders, I am not a fan of the tactics we play but if...
I think Carlise and Fleetwood are pretty much down, and then it's a choice of 2 from 16th place down. On current form that looks to be Charlton and Cheltenham. Will be interesting to see how the table reads once everone has played the same amount of games.
It's amazing that the attendances have held up so well during our bad run of form, will be interesting to see what the average home attendance is at the end of this season.
