Prompted by Stuart Storer memories on the Derby Co thread, a fantasy 60 metre sprint race of City players from my memory.
The line up as follows:
Andy Cook
Stuart Storer
Leon Braithwaite
John Williams
Christian Roberts
Randell Williams
Josh Key
Jake Caprice
Who wins?

New season kicks off in earnest today. Hard to see past another Verstappen procession to the title this season. Red Bull still look like they have a couple of tenths on their nearest rivals looking at Checo's times. Ferrari, with a new set up under Frederic Vasseur will be looking to cut out...
England have beaten Italy 2-1, coming from behind, today to reach the final of this tournament. They will face Israel who beat France in the other semi. England beat Israel 1-0 in their final group game which was a dead rubber as both had already qualified.
From what I have seen so far they...
Time for a new season's thread I should think.
So now that Sonny and Harry have signed, can the club please announce the other new scholars? Ten to announce if I remember correctly although that probably included the two 'erberts already mentioned 😉
Seeing as there is always a debate going on about City strikers/goalscorers and I was bored this afternoon, I thought I would get a spreadsheet going to see if anything interesting pops out. As data is kind of all over the place in different sources, I used the ECFC Bible for stats up to 1990...
Time for a new thread now England are back in action and a day they couldn't have asked much more from. Was out earlier so listening to updates on R5 and it seems the Sri Lanka batsmen were a bit profligate with their batting. Still a 5-for that Dom Bess will take happily after bowling a lot...
Just for Ali 😉.
Although to annoy the pedantic side of him some more, here is some news for 2022!

Not a surprising move from the new owners. Sir Frank and Sir Patrick were always for trying to build...
Pretty brutal first stage today although of course it was the scheduled fourth stage. Ineos exploded the peloton on the final climb but couldn't quite isolate Primoz Roglic and when Sepp Kuss went it was down to a select few but with only Jumbo-Visma with multiple riders.
Roglic looking like...
I'm not sure we have one of these yet for this season. Apologies if I've missed it. Seeing as we have different players out on loan though it makes it easier for it to be in one place.
Louis Morison keeps his place whilst Cheick Diabate is on the bench for Tiverton.
Jordan Dyer and Noah...
Following up Ali's TV and Movie remakes thread, what cover songs do you like better than the original? There are plenty to choose from so I will kick off with -
Satisfaction by Devo
I always like a cover that takes the original to a different place.
Just starting the thread in anticipation of the Austria Pt II round of the season for discussion to avoid the TV thread for the few and myself that are interested. Others are free to say how boring it is/not as good as Fangio v Moss etc ;).
Main talking points of the week so far;
Ferrari...
Good couple of goals by Nicky Law. I quite like MJ's jink and left footer in to the top corner.
But is anyone going to say their favourite goal isn't Randell's?
Maybe Taggy will be getting a bit more support at EFL meetings from a bigger team who are still small beer in Premier League terms it seems.
