Many years ago, as an 11 year old schoolboy in Exeter, I was invited to a friends house after class.
His mother dished up fish fingers and beans for tea. First time I'd ever seen a fish knife!

I've just paid £2.70 for a coffee. I feel I've been de-bagged again. Just like school.
It was described as a "tall white". What does this mean? I only ordered it as it was the only one I could pronounce without fear of ridicule.
