Getting back to the thread, anything below playoffs is a step in the wrong direction. I doubt we will make it though but not because of selling Ollie (who was excellent in some games and disappeared in many (including the playoff final where he was dreadful)) but because all other teams have...
Not really, Matt Jay has never been good enough. We didn't need 3 keepers so it would have been better to offer one year and then decide if needed and Simpson has an awful record.
Why on earth did Matt Jay, Robbie Simpson and Hamon get more than one year before?. Jay and Hamon wont make it into the first team and Simpson is rubbish neither should be near the first team tbh.
Was Watkins playing at the start of the season when we were rubbish? I don't think he is our best player or anywhere near as good as Wheeler , Reid, Mcalinden or even Grant. He gives the ball away far too often and tries too much. He is certainly not Championship or League 1 level at the moment...
Olly Watkins is so overrated as today suggested . He was abysmal and one of the worst performances I have seen in a city shirt in a while .He gave the ball away almost every time and gave up at times . Yes he has scored some good goals this season and had one or two great games but in many he...
Ollie won't make much more than selling Tom did. Ollie scores some great goals at great opportunities and is often a threat but I still think some of his game is lacking. I cant count the amount of times when he has been greedy when he could have passed the ball to someone in a much better...
I'm not Tisdale's biggest fan but you have to give it to him on that one. He is clearly popular amongst some players and this signing seems to be much due to Tisdale and his persuasive techniques.
Well that was awful. We had very few ideas going forward and there was no service, we sat very deep and did not look like scoring until the end.
Some positives is that Ampadu and Troy were excellent, Troy threw himself at every shot and won every header and Ampadu looked very assured and made...
There is something seriously wrong with the football club at the moment. We have had so much money come into the club with :
Grimes 1.7 Million
Fa Cup run last year with TV , prize money and attendances (circa 700k)
Tom Nichols 250k
So nearly 3 million pounds of additional income over the...
There are some big British businesses their too and majority have made large falls but this is balanced by international businesses who take advantage of the weak pound.
Well that is so undemocratic , surely in this Great country we should be electing everyone who is helping and proposing laws . We should be electing every single person who has that power . Do you know who the policy advisor is for each Secretary of State? Let's elect everyone , lots of general...
Exactly.
As for this Daniel Hannan bloke, the same guy who claimed that the EU Commission was undemocratic YET he was bureaucrat unelected policy advisor to David Cameron.
I was concentrating on the 'Elite ' side. I would even class myself as the 'metropolitan elite' . Actually I am not left-leaning nor liberal. I just don't believe in this ****e in terms of the European Union, compared to most I have not relied on the Daily Mail , Express or The Sun to get my...
This is the issue though, those campaigned for Brexit were also the elite. Boris (Alexander Boris De PFeffel Johnson) , Michael Gove, Nigel Farage , Chris Grayling , ALL ELITE.
So who should we listen to then?
If you need an operation, who operates? you have 3 choices : 1) Man on the street who says he knows how to open up bodies 2) Nigel Farage 3) A surgeon, an EXPERT who has several years of training and education
If you are about to face trial for a crime, who...
This is complete Bull. Firstly, the FTSE which you referred to is the FTSE 100, which is made up of businesses mainly from outside the UK, who benefit from a weak pound, so that was always going to rise well. The FTSE 250 suffered a major dip and is recovering, will it reach the levels it did...
