    20-21 new shirts

How hard is it to design a decent shirt with red & white stripes?

Clubs agree salary cap for L1 and L2

Surely the best way would be to have a 25 or 30% relegation wage drop in each player's contract. Gordon Taylor is so out of touch he might as well live on the moon.

Clubs agree salary cap for L1 and L2

That is the annoying part but the playing field will gradually now level over the next 2-3 years as those contracts run out.

    Ollie Watkins

He was, and Villa's attack last season was dreadful. Watkins would walk into their frontline.

    Ollie Watkins

Great news for City. Wouldn't be surprised if he went for £30m.

    Transfer Rumours 2020

But the club's known footballing outgoings have been significantly reduced, by probably at least £10k a week, when we released eight players. I can't see how getting two players in for around 20 - 25% of that could be seen as "negligent".

Really disappointing that these youngsters don't, or at least indicate that they're prepared to, sign a pro contract to protect the club who developed them from getting peanuts (which is what happened with Jude Bellingham and his family). We're obviously not going to hold them back.

    Ollie Watkins

Of course, but you'd expect there to be some truth in it if DevonLive are reporting. Bit poor if they'd made up a story based on someone's Exeweb post, but has been done I suppose.

    Ollie Watkins

Might be best if Brentford win tonight, we get £500k, have a season of giving the youngsters a go, and if Ollie has a pretty good season you're likely looking at a £40m valuation.

    League 2 News

I hope they stay up and the EFL don't do the dirty on them. Stevenage were one of the worst League Two teams I've seen in years and still managed to finish bottom, despite Macc being deducted umpteen points.

    Cycle for City

Exeter to Dawlish Warren is a good ride, but becomes a bit of a pain if you go on to Dawlish. The other side down to Exmouth is fantastic.

    Transfer Rumours 2020

Scot Bennett is far too slow and not very tall.

    20-21 new shirts

It's not, but we've just been embarrassingly thrashed at the national stadium so you'd think the club would want to put last season behind them and look ahead.

Thanks for clearing that up. Bit of a shame.

    Ollie Watkins

Don't we still have a sell-on clause? It's pretty feasible that someone like Brighton could come in with a £10m - £15m offer for him if Swansea don't go up

Youngsters to get their chance with some players told they're free to leave

I'd move on Taylor and Sweeney. They've had their chance and lost at Wembley three times. Let's give someone else a go, even if it's a couple of youngsters, and hand Archie the captaincy.

Youngsters to get their chance with some players told they're free to leave

Giving Fisher a two-year deal was a bit silly seeing as he was only playing up the road before. He's a good pro but probably Conference standard. Hopefully there's a moneybags team in that league who might take on Ajose too.

    20-21 new shirts

Surely we can release our kit even if it's for a pre-order? We're not signing anyone, so a little bit of positive news to try and banish the play-off final shambles wouldn't go amiss.

    Ethan Ampadu off to Chelsea

I'd like to think Lampard will have him in and around the first-team squad. Would perfectly suit a ball-playing role in a back three, like Chelsea deployed against Man Utd. He's also probably equally as good or a bit better at defensive midfield than Billy Gilmour, who had that excellent...
