    Former Players

There's a few former Grecians in the goals in National League South. Will Dean got one for Truro. Reuben Reid has scored two for WSM as they lead 4-1 against Welling whose goal was scored by Tristan Abrahams.

Exeter City Nil Port Vale prediction and discussion thread

My predictive text says... Exeter city is the first one in the morning but I think he's one of our most consistent attacking threats to the Friend one of the season to be a good result there. With our shot shy misfiring attack at the moment I think a set up to gain a point is in the offing of...

Matt Taylor - sacked by Rotherham & employed by Bristol Rovers

We actually played Bristol Rovers on this day in 2009. Lost 1-0. It was cold. I was very very drunk.

    Caldwell out?

I wonder if what Tagg is really saying is not that we can't afford it in the literal sense? Exeter City v Shrewsbury Matchday Thread 28th Nov 2023. k.o. 7:45 and 9:45.

To be fair, I thing GC was in the first instance a lack of quality in our play and in the second defending the players ability. He's right - they do have quality and there is a lack of belief. And why is there? Because we're like a ship without a rudder.

    Exeter City v Shrewsbury Matchday Thread 28th Nov 2023. k.o. 7:45 and 9:45.

There was one second half where we did all that arsing about and delivered the ball where there were three Shrewsbury players with no City player near. Baffling.

Obviously a point is better than nothing. There was more effort today than I've seen previously. But ultimately we never really looked like scoring and neither did Shrewsbury. If we were playing someone half decent we'd have lost.

All those Posh fans whinging about signing yet another player from us will be eating their words with both Archie and Randall performing this season.
