A very different City today and all those who had been asking why is Bowman undroppable must now know the answer to the question.
it also shows how much we have missed having an inform Joel in the team.....back to his best today. MJ not sure but would have thought that was his first football...
I thought it was reported on here that John had passed away a few years ago. When I was living in Tiverton he had set himself up in business doing gardening and landscape work and until around 2006 he used to look after my garden for me. He was a really lovely man and if my memory serves me...
Sturtz you beat me to it. Beginning to look as if we do have a plan B it isn’t working and Saturday with Bowman back into the side it will be back to plan A.
if after Saturday’s performance Fisher is even in the squad for Tuesday I will be starting to have serious doubts as whether MT is as good a manager as we have been thinking he is.
I take no pleasure in saying this but in future even if our attacking options are severely limited after such an unbelievably lazy and c**p performance where he offered absolutely nothing either as an attacking threat or defensive cover, proving beyond doubt he is not even a poor man’s Ryan...
Agree 100% with everything you have said particularly with regards to the substitutions and why leave Fisher on when he was just ambling around and offering no attacking threat or defensive cover whatsoever.
Not one of MT’s best games some very odd substitutions. Comments about Fisher bashing but in truth he has not been in the game and has offered nothing in either area. He has just ambled around throughout the game. Proof if proof is needed that he is not another Bowman and it has been a ludicrous...
Agreed Seymour chases everything and could still have been a threat on the break away. Fisher apart from his goal at Southend has generally been the waste of a shirt.
So good to see Ben on the score sheet a really good header. A number of individuals have been writing written him off but personally I have always thought they were making their judgments far too early.....similar to MJ a couple of seasons ago.
MT obviously thinks he has potential and again...
just thinking the same thing for a few games now Villa have failed to dominate play at anytime. The result being Ollie is feeding off scraps and having to chase and work very hard to get any time on the ball.
