Out of interest, what rules would you tweak that would enhance our experience as a football fan? This dislike of rugby by football fans, and vica versa, is a bit daft in the modern sporting world. Yes, there used to be a fair bit of 'class war' between the two sports but, today, they're both professional sports and can both be admired for their skill and athleticism.
Rugby has turned itself from a players game to a very watchable sport; largely by adapting the rules with the spectator in mind. It's about time that association football took a leaf out of their book and tweaked our own rules, again with the spectator in mind - rather than just the television companies!
