I can’t be bothered to look, I’m sure it isn’t more than London. You can certainly get a seat for less than £28 at Millwall or Charlton. Let’s not pretend it’s cheap at SJP
You can get a seat for £27.00, which is less than £28.00, at ECFC.
Here to help those who can't be properly bothered.

Not aware anyone is pretending it is, we have to strike the right balance to maximise our revenue as we don’t have owners with money.

Bought mine! I’m in a lucky position to pay it in full. I can’t believe instalments are not in place though…
I'm sure the club are probably aware of this but there are a number of companies, eg Premium Credit, that specialise in administering monthly direct debit payments for sports club subscriptions in return for a small premium. For sure, I wouldn't be able to afford my golf club sub were there not the option to pay in this way.

I can well imagine the club doesn't have the resources to run such a scheme itself, but it would be great if it were able to utilise a company such as the one I've mentioned to facilitate a facility of this kind for those who'd prefer to pay over the course of the season.

Does it cost substantially more in Devon to other parts of the country then?
No but your point was about the division we're in, not our geographical location.

I don't know what else people expect really. The club isn't a charity and it obviously thinks the announced figures are a fair price for watching L1 football in 2022/23. I very much doubt the prices have just been plucked out of thin air over a plate of biscuits, I'm sure a decent amount of research has gone into setting them.

In a meeting somewhere, some place...
Worth remembering in any discussion the capacity available for sale - we have c4000 seats max (of which c1250-1500 will be sold as season tickets).

how many l1 clubs will only have 2500 seats available at the start of each season?

That said - I doubt many people would walk up and select a seat - I would imagine walk ups would often take a space in the Big bank

Hasn't there been a problem (in the past or maybe on going), with paying for season tickets using a credit card, with the cc companies reluctant to pay out in advance of games happening ? I only mention it as Clubs tradionally use the revenue from early season ticket sales to finance themselves in the close season. Payment by installment plans could negate this ?

Here and there
I fully understand how hard it is for folk on a limited budget. I am a pensioner and it's not easy for me, but I haven't missed a home game for a long time and it makes sense for me, even with the increase. Everything is going up as we all know and this coming year (or more) is going to see many people and families struggle to make ends meet.

Some are saying we are one of the most pricey clubs for STs in League Two and, whilst that may be true, we must remember that we have no financial backer to prop things up if money becomes too tight to mention. Would FGR be where they are without Dale Vince bankrolling them for one example? There are plenty of others.

Accepting that watching City is not a priority for some, I hope as many as possible can find a way to get their ST if they come to all, or most, games.
