If you can access it out in Indo, then check out this weeks John Oliver's Last Week Tonight show. That's where I picked it up from. I do fear for your blood pressure though when you see it 😉
You know, the funny thing is my blood pressure is always perfect.. My theory is it's because I never bottle anything up. Especially on the roads in Jakarta, which as you can imagine can be a bit chaotic at tines, I often let rip at rogue bikers and drivers
I'm sure I can check out John Oliver. Jakarta is very "switched on", you know.
Thanks for the info

As for your take on Boris, I feel you are quite wrong and believe his brush with coronavirus will be a plus with the public. Finally, 'Sir' Keir Starmer, he really looks a decent bloke as I said before. But come election time the dreaded right-wing papers will remind people that he was on the board of the Trotskyist-linked Socialist Alternatives magazine. Also, when under his leadership as Director of Public Prosecutions, the CPS failed to prosecute serial rapist John Worboys for 75 of his suspected crimes. Then of course there was the failure to prosecute Jimmy Savile despite the evidence of his offending. The "quiet people" are watching and listening.
Yes, you may well be right, but it's a plus that would need to survive for another four years for it to mean anything in electoral, rather than opinion poll, terms. The consequences of the No Deal Brexit that Johnson seems intent on pursuing (can you name anyone who thinks any kind of deal can be drawn up and ratified in eight months?) will carry far more weight than a distant memory of a bloke who got ill, largely through his own negligence and by not following his own advice. (I see the Cheltenham Festival, identified as a petri dish for Coronavirus, is claiming that it decided to go ahead because Johnson had been to an international Rugby match a few days earlier)

And you're right about the right wing press and Starmer. People on the left, and centre to some extent, have always had to face this sort of thing - the key question is how they respond to it. One of Corbyn's many and varied failings was his complete inability to counter these predictable attacks (John McDonnell was far more proficient in this regard). Tony Blair - New Labour, New Danger; Demon Eyes etc - not a scratch. The best example comes from two 1983 by elections. After the press had monstered Peter Tatchell, causing Labour to lose rock solid Bermondsey, the pack got ready for Tony Benn's run at Chesterfield a couple of months later. Out came all the Loony Left propaganda, Benn on the psychiatrist's couch etc etc and he just dealt with it and swept to victory. Personally I think Starmer is more than up to dealing with any attempts to smear him for past "misdeeds"

I think this is what you mean.
Jesus : how right wing sycophantic can you get?
And that j*rk : " Remember - even when I'm wrong I'm right" . And his stupidity when trying to make a point against Bernie: just totally showed himself up
Wouldn't be surprised if Trump was behind that station.

Additional £10k expenses, on top of the £26k they already receive, granted to MPs to help them with working from home.

I get a working from home allowance except mine is £14 a month.

Don't matter what I think of the bloke politically, Anyone coming out of ICU after contracting this virus and apparently on the mend can only be good news, RIP to those that have died and pray (If you believe) for those that are still in ICU

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has unveiled the remaining positions in his shadow ministerial team.

They include prominent critics of his predecessor Jeremy Corbyn, including Jess Phillips, who was briefly a leadership contender.

Ms Phillips will be part of the shadow home affairs team, focussing on tackling domestic violence.

Liz Kendall, who came last in the 2015 Labour leadership election, has been made a shadow health minister.

Wot, no Ben?
