Yep Perfectly put. Having said all that we played quite poorly on the day & still should have won, even allowing for the ref. Extra time, they had gone.. completely. That was the time to win the game. We even beat Hartlepool 5-0 on their patch. Still, that's sport. We'll be up there again...

Thanks for the kind wishes from you greeks.. it's appreciated. You all know how it feels to be down here, although not for the 8 or so seasons! Gary Johnson may not be everyone's cup of tea but he is a bloody good manager. To get us 90 minutes from glory despite losing our 3 best forwards from...

It's ok we don't want legohead back! 😉 Yes maybe I was being overly simplistic but jumping ship to your local rivals (at the time) is a lot different to supporting something like FC Utd after being disillusioned with Man U, it's more like going off to support Man City. For 99.9% of fans, it's...

Didn't start till October.. but yes it's seemed a long gruelling season. A bizarre season, will it/won't it finish, Dover just stopping playing.. & having their results expunged, no relegation meaning several clubs furloughing most of their squad & then being goal difference fodder over the last...

Legohead - you just can't change to follow another local team & be taken seriously, not now.. not ever. Being a fan doesn't work like that, you're a fraud. You should choose another sport or follow the chiefs.

He was lucky to get that many.. How on earth did he get such a long contract with you lot.. ? ..and why on earth does he have to keep spending it here !

Doh! Even Torquay's New Ground is better than our redevelopment

If Plainmoor is vacated, either houses will be built there or on their current playing fields at Quinta close....a more affluent site with views of the bay etc. The secondary school will still need playing fields...plainmoor being next door makes more sense.

Doh! Even Torquay's New Ground is better than our redevelopment

It's an interesting proposition and one I know the council are quite keen to make happen...it's been whispered about for a good year now. The proposed new stadium site is by the Willows and right on the new road into Torbay and near to where the new train station is being built, it's road links...

It's just a result of the way in which the club has been run, it's not the fault of the new consortium....I'm sure they feel gutted to have been forced to pull the plug. When you get relegated and don't bounce straight back up, the funding loss is crippling. I'm just pleased to still have a...

Is the right answer. Nobody wants to see the academy go....but in 7 years we've barely produced a 1st team player from it, youngsters that have broken through have tended to be lads picked up from other academies at 16/17. Yes that may well be short sighted but in reality we were always playing...

At last....a hopeless trio costing us 200k....gone! Took us down and we were abysmal last season on a decent budget for this league....1-5 at home to Braintree for heavens sake. Don't believe all that guff about refusing to take pay cuts, they were always going to be out as soon as the deal...

    Olejnik Signs

Damn...! ;) Bobby O is a damn fine keeper - he was the reason that we got to the play offs under Lingy 3 or 4 years ago. Too good for League 2 in my opinion, no way will he be anything other than your no.1. He's the best keeper I've seen at Plainmoor for the last decade or two. Not a tall...

To be fair, It's just been 3 blokes having a chat over there for the last year or so. Banter base was a laugh for many years....trust us to muck it all up and get relegated again!:) Jeez...it's not like we even had a financial meltdown, a Lewis and Russell, or even a Chris Roberts to blame -...

According to Paul Buckle, TUFC's budget is bigger than Cheltenham's this year. My best guess is that ours is 8-900k.
