An unelected bureaucrat holds a personal press conference in the No 10 Rose Garden. How Europe must be laughing (reasonably hard).

Only 22 Tory MPs out of 298, many remained silent. Hartley-Brewer had a personal reason for her stance, guilt in not seeing her mother. The Daily Mail's shift is probably editorial; Dacre to Greig, two radically different beasts. My point is...democratic Governance shouldn't be a question of...

Nailed it, indo. Just as in the US....the tribalism blinkers are on, the populist 'truth-twisters' reign supreme. Johnson, his judgement and endorsements, are not being called into question by those who support him, there is a total blind trust, apologists abound. "You MUST stay at home" is...

The special advisers behaviour has been endorsed by his boss, the elected PM. Why isn't the boss being grilled ? The buck stops where ?

Yes, mustn't forget Tavares' triumphalist 'Boris is winning the war' then he pledged to come back and update us after two weeks, to speak as he found. That was about 3 months ago. What a bunch of jellybacks they are. :ROFLMAO:

I only described how I felt watching and listening to it. I shall reserve judgement, there has to be a plausible reason for it, perhaps it was all a part of the plan ? Cummings is very clever, after all.

I'm reserving judgement until I hear from Mr Jinx and/or Al2000, or any other Vote Leave government supporter left on here. There has to be a reasonable explanation for the most squirm inducing, cringeworthy and inept public display from a serving Prime Minister, ever.

Was thinking more of all the 'Pzazz', 'Vim and vigour' 'get things done' hokum on the tin. It's been sorely needed, and lacking.
