Shame about Cineworld, We did have one round here and they always showed good films, The ones that weren't blockbusters etc.
Miles too expensive round these parts as unfortunately they have a cinema monopoly in the area. Only one I’ve been too in the last six months is the Top Gun sequel. In the current financial climate I wonder how the average family can afford to go.

When that word is quoted or used by someone Isca, You don't know whether to laugh or roll your eyes, Whoever quoted it has a real grasp of the English Language! :)
I dunno I think it's got a ring to it.

Remember when white privilege was a thing?:

What's this to do with the word "Racialist"? Genuine question.

We have a Ghost (2023). Young Kevin befriends Ernest who is a ghost living in his house. Ernest becomes a social media thing and comes to the attention of the CIA. Kevin wants to find out who Ernest really is.

A good and entertaining film, suitable for a lazy Sunday evening. 7/10.

I refer you to post #9,389 and the context in which it was used. I then put it in the context of last night's events. Have you not seen Davis's reaction?

I guess you're talking about the Oscars which I didn't watch and who's this Davis?

I watched the Luther film last night.

Luther: The Fallen Sun | Official Trailer | Netflix - YouTube

Was a big fan of the TV series when it first started, less so the later series when I thought it all got a bit far-fetched, but this takes things to a whole new level of absurdity. And some.

Idris Elba is excellent, as are Andy Serkis [and his bouffant], Cynthia Erivo, and Dermot Crowley, and it looks the part cinematically, but, frankly, they're fighting a losing battle with this plot, large parts of which would be more at home in a James Bond film, or a Batman movie, than a story about a London copper.

Four out of 10.
