Welcome indeed.
I love these type of signings; previously good calibre player that needs to rediscover his form. We have a history of making them work.
Hope he’s made a full recovery from his serious illness and is able to add some quality to our midfield.

Great video here of McDonald. Shows he's a character and will certainly add value off the field to our younger players. Hopefully he can get himself fit enough to contribute on the pitch as he obviously has ability far superior to this level. Type of player without his illness we would not have been able to sign.

Is he likely to be match ready or is this a longer term project, similar to David Noble?
If he is ready, do we still keep Rakeem Harper or lighten the wage bill?

If he's looked after himself then 34 is no age.
Depends if you consider last year's kidney transplant looking after oneself 😟

What a very strange comment.
I’m not sure if you’re a medical professional but I’d be interested to know why you think the necessity to have a kidney transplant because of an long-standing medical issue implies you haven’t looked after yourself.

What are you getting at with this one? Bloke almost died

He has chronic kidney disease for 12 years btw, and played in the Prem

Probably worded incorrectly, for which I apologise. But almost died and playing regularly in the Prem? Doesn't sound right either. Would be good to get a bit more detail.

Loving the boy Stanno
I didn’t read anything malicious in Jinxy’s post myself, I thought he meant that when athletes say they’ve looked after themselves, it normally means they’re at peak physical condition, but Kevin has had to go through a serious operation, so there might be question marks over his fitness.

At least, that’s what I hoped he meant.
