We could get a big TV on loan from a Premier League club
Sam Sung is in need of some game time.

Sunderland fans chatting about Josh Key and, strangely, Diabate.

I also read this they both went and attended the training ground 18 months ago up north, they're adamant he's not worth more than £500k now

I'd be surprised if Sunderland went for Key now. I know this has been done to death but he's not hit the same heights since they were last in for him and since then Sunderland have got to a position where they are trying to get promoted to the Premier League.

Oh well, half way along and the current scores on the doors are
One loan in
One player recalled
Two permanent signings sold (for money - undisclosed though)

Neutral impact on the squad so far

Fifteen days to go, when do we start panicking and place a lookout at the Cliff Hill for incomings, and do we start to worry if GC starts to bring his boots along to training

Well , Tis picked himself for games sometimes , why shouldn’t Gary? Anyway , no panic , all the time in the world.

Given the management team are all training for the half marathon may be they are preparing for their Grecian playing debuts - would they count as Marquee signings ?

Was surprised there wasn't any mention of Pollock at the game on Saturday?

I disagree. Following the departure of Pond we were probably 3 players short in the first half of the season, which had a negative impact on our results when facing a pile up of injuries to centre halves, Dieng etc. We had a real problem recruiting suitable players in the close season, and I had hoped that we would have been primed and ready to go, when the window opened. Whilst I welcome the arrival of Joe White, the recruitment problem still seems to exist "in spades" despite our best efforts. The unexpected departures of Jay and Dieng really hurts, as they were "oven ready" squad members, whilst a returning, injured Coley clearly is not.
We have the basis of a really strong squad, that could do really well in the second half of the season, but without suitable additions, a few more injuries could be disastrous for our aspirations.
