These commentators are all over us now, at 2:3 they'd thrown the towel in, extolling the wonder of Bristol Rovers and slagging off City's poor second half, we were always still in that game.

Craziest second half of the season candidate. Even though it looked like Rovers had turned it around (details for the first two in not closing down and then just not tackling for the pen) we were consistently creating good chances and probably should have gone 3-1 ahead a couple of times. But then we showed the character to not fold. Loads of teams would have having gone behind after leading 2-0. Nice to see James Belshaw repeating his mistake in the home game this season to perfection for the winner 🤣🤣🤣.

No real worth in analysing that game too much really. We can attack pretty well. Defending needs work.

Ref was still pretty crap.

That game was insane.

Caldwell's tactics are a shambles though. Everyone's been crying out for stanno, brown and Nombe to start. So he decided to put them all on the pitch when we're 2-1 up 😳

Come on you reds, on and off the pitch - may the Grecian army outsing the gasheads and may our heroes in red and white smash the scally’s team of no-marks.

I’m in London today and will be watching Hamilton while the game is going on, so will be waiting for notifications when each of our 6 goals go in.

Geddon city.
Fred - just a tip, Academicals play in the Scottish Leagues, not in England.

A ten out of ten performance from Sam Nombe. Gave them headache after headache. A word for Jay Stansfield's cross for the Dieng header. Very cool thinking at 3-2 down.

Football always will make peple look silly at times, I dont care as it ended up in us winning, so I think I will carry on moaning and badgering the manager as it seems to work lol (y)

TBF Stanno gave away a needless foul for their first goal and went on to miss two easy chances. Played well though good cross for Tim's goal..

If he had taken MJ off for a more defensive player he would have been accused of trying to sit on a lead. At that point Rovers were wide open for the counter attack and we could and should have gone 3-1 up a couple of times which would have probably killed Rovers off.

That was one hell of a game - but what on earth were we playing at for the first 10-20 minutes of the second half? For us, sitting back and trying to 'contain' is just not a good idea!

Fancy going to a musical instead of seeing City in a great away win 🙂
