Heard 3 players we are working on are Stansfield, Tommy Conway and CJ Hamilton. All have been close at points but then clubs not releasing them at the last min. Likely it will be one of the two strikers as another target man is the 2nd forward wanted to offer a different style.
hamilton is a lwb/lw from Blackpool and Conway a striker scored twice against us in previous season and played and scored sat for Bristol city which has either delayed or scuppered the deal

CJ Hamilton was on fire when we lost to Mansfield at home a few seasons back. I believe he played as part of a front 3?

Conway on the bench tonight for Brizzle at Wycombe. And for conspiracy theorists Wheeler not featuring at all for Wycombe !

Conway has started in Bristol City's last 3 Championship games and has scored 4 goals in 6 appearances for them this season. Would be utterly amazing if if they're loaning him to us.
Hamilton has made 4 sub appearances for Blackpool so far this season.

Theres no way Tommy Conway is coming to us.
The Harper deal was a bit of a curve ball. I'm excited to see who comes in next. I have faith that Flitcroft will do the business.

Harper is a decent signing on the face of it. Think in the context of one or two real quality prem loans it’ll look better.
