We've not actually conceded a goal in the first half this season and have scored at least 1, in all competitions.

Great bit of am dram by Sparkes to get the yellow dished out. The team seem quite streetwise compared to some previous years.

Two very well taken goals, playing nicely although Dieng is completely anonymous.

Great half. Scrappy start where we couldn’t settle, and allowed Wycombe to do what they do, but after the first 10 mins we were better all over the pitch. Against the sort of side we used to struggle against. We are fast, skilful, strong and fit.

And all without Super Sam and Stubbsy.

Good half! Loved how MJ beat the offside trap - clever play.
Crucially, unlike on Saturday, we got the second while we were on top.

And we're top scorers in the division!

Anybody not on iFollow, those goals are beautiful. The second one: Cheick puts a perfectly lofted ball into the left side of the area for MJ, who shows super composure to wait for the right ball from the byline, sets up Collins who also calmly picks his spot with defenders around him. League One Masterclass first half from us, where we have just put the ball into danger areas and tested Wycombe who have at times looked all over the place at the back. I have especially loved Jack Sparkes, who works hard all up and down his flank and tends to come off best in the 50/50s, while putting in dangerous balls forward too. Diabate though! KMT praised him on Saturday and that seems to have given him yet another boost as he has been majestic. And Jamal Blackman has been brilliant when called upon. What a treat this has been so far. The home atmosphere really helps I'm sure and we need to consolidate on this second half. Let's hope we do.

And down to ten men as well with a player sent off in the penalty incident.
