Best remembered playing in a good Middlesbrough team in the 1st Division, then had a decent career at Gillingham 50 goals in 119 appearances.
He had a enviable strike record.

A few years back whilst sat in a pub in Fort William a couple of ‘Smoggies’ on holiday recognised him(it’s his home town)
I ear wigged their conversation about his time at Middlesbrough, remembering the name when one of the lads mentioned it.
