Cams gone, get over it and pray he doesn't go to Argyle.

No, he doesnt fancy it off of his line, and on occasion he looks jittery and hesitant in that regard. His one major attribute is his distribution. His clearances are excellent, and he invariably finds a teammate. He's a good lower league keeper, but we shouldnt be fighting over him so that his agent comes up with an innaccurate valuation. I say make Wednesday a sensible offer. If they're not interested, then we move on.
Completely agree with you regarding his distribution, although a sensible offer to Wednesday is unrealistic as he's still young and their valuation would seriously exceed what we pay for players. Our fees are minimal, upto around 100k, Dawson would be more towards the 1m mark.

Could we sign Andresson for £100000?! Not as experienced maybe but a lot of potential and sell on value.

It would have to be a loan deal, with the only advantage for Wednesday being that Cam would be in the League 1 shop window every week, thus increasing his value, assuming he continues to do well. At the moment his status is "very good League 2 keeper" (only).

We are looking upwards now and being ambitious…… that’s not a bad figure upfront and with sell on percentages wouldn’t be a bad deal for all concerned. Would hardly be an unpopular signing and certainly not a chance signing.

Someone else mentioned £100000 being our upfront limit in transfer fees. It’s unrealistic for Dawson apart from that would apparently cover his wages for a season but why not Andresson?! Anyway it would be an undisclosed fee anyway so no one would ever know!

Because he isn't good enough. He spent a loan spell in and out of the side at Morecambe last season which was eventually terminated four months early (he was signed for the season and loan ended in January). Or if he is good enough then we were spoilt rotten last season with Dawson because Andresson isn't in the same league as Dawson.

so if he "has potential and sell on value" do you not think Reading may just think the same! And if they dont think he will progress beyond what happened at Morecambe why would we spunk money on a keeper that the parent club dont think is good enough either?
