Pleased for Nicky he deserved a decent pay day and I should think he is getting one now since moving across the pond.
I don't pretend to know but would have thought it entirely feasible Nicky was earning more money at Exeter than he will be in the States. Indeed, Google suggests the average wage for a USL player is $40,000-60,000, USL Player Salaries 2022- Everything You Need To Know | Authority Soccer, which would, I imagine, be a fair bit less then Nicky was earning at SJP.Pleased for Nicky he deserved a decent pay day and I should think he is getting one now since moving across the pond.
We were lucky to have him for the time we did. Outstanding footballer and seemed like a nice chap as well. As I recall when Nicky left, he spoke at some length about his family's desire to spend some time in the States, and experience a different culture, so I guess his move was as much, if not more, about this than money.
Jamie is also a good young footballer, plays for our academy.Seems Steve and Tamsin Tully's son has opted for rugby over football:
Notwithstanding he's chosen the wrong-shaped ball, that's some try – imagine a young Steve Neville on the rugby pitch! ;-)
For the second match in a row, although it is improbable that Posh will avoid relegation back into League One.Bowman scored for Shrewsbury. Joel Randall actually came on for Peterborough for 10 mins.
Last I heard they were sending him off to a specialist that was only a few weeks ago. He definitely has underlying injury problems, I think we did well bagging £1m and I’m sure he didn’t envisage playing at SJP in the League again so soon! He will tear League 1 next season if he can get back to fitness. For the second match in a row, although it is improbable that Posh will avoid relegation back into League One.
